MyUSAi - People who are interested in visiting or immigrating to the United States now have an online avenue to gather more information and to reach out to a vast community. A social networking site targetted at immigrants into the United States as well as potential immigrants was launched by veterans in the immigration and naturalisation industry. The site currently attracts several thousand visitors each day and has more than 100,000 members. Strategy and Technology

The site is designed using Open Source technologies that provides stability, spacalibity and robustness while lowering total cost of ownership. Skynapse Business Technology has been involved from the start in the development, customisation, deployment and management of the site that requires high-quality of service level.

Our initial strategy was to understand the overall strategic requirements of the site and its intended target audience. Based on these findings and the technical and cost requirements, Skynapse leveraged on Open Source technologies  with several custom modules that are specific to the industry.
